We are a team of doctors, experts by experience, humanities researchers and educators who believe that medical education is enriched by the involvement of patients. We work in the area of neurology (diseases and conditions of the brain and nervous system).
We are passionate about spreading the word about the importance of brain health. Please check out our work with local schools and communities at community engagement!
Through the Expert Patient Tutor Program, patients with neurological conditions co-teach students, drawing on their experiences. We are dedicated to expanding this Program, ensuring it is representing and serving the Oxfordshire community in all its richness and diversity.
The project is a collaboration between the University of Oxford, UK and Quinnipiac University, USA and is generously funded by the University of Oxford Strategic Innovation Fund.
